We understand the importance of preserving our planet for future generations
What is behind the initiative?
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) was established through a collaboration between the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI), the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and CDP.
*The SBTi targets relate to Dennemeyer S.A.
What are our targets?
We have committed to a 42% reduction in emissions produced by our company and associated with purchasing electricity and heating by 2030. We have also pledged to measure and reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions produced by sources not owned or operated by us.
How will we reach our goal?
Since we are not in a carbon-intensive business or producing and shipping goods, our reduction will be focused on our offices, for example switching local electricity and heating providers to tariffs with 100% renewable energy and minimizing CO2-intensive travel.
