Happy New Year - let's ring in 2018
From everyone at Dennemeyer, we wish you a happy and prosperous 2018. Thank you for choosing to join us here at the Dennemeyer blog in 2017. It has been a fantastic year, and it was made possible by readers like you!
We are celebrating 55th anniversary of Dennemeyer through May 2018. Check out our celebratory promotion if you have not done so.
To help bring in the new year, we have found some fun patents and trademarks that capture the spirit of fun.
If you are at home hosting a party, you will want to make sure you provide guests with fun new year themed accessories like hats and fun novelty eyewear (U.S. Patent No. 6196680 B1). You will also want to be prepared and have a champagne bottle opener (U.S. Patent No. 4680993A) ready.
Of course, you will be doing all of this while watching Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve ( U.S. Reg. No. 77621416) – a favorite U.S. show since the 1970’s. Then as the countdown begins, we will all watch a ball drop to symbolize the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018. Maybe it will be this fun confetti sprayer and ball drop (U.S. Patent No. 6260989 B1).
The next day is for relaxing and recovery. Luckily, there might be a New Year’s Eve Recovery Kit (U.S. Reg. No. 87168507); although this mark is just for a label and not the actual kit.
For those of us in the U.S., watching American football is a big New Year’s day activity. Specifically, the Rose Bowl, which has 11 live trademarks, the first filed in 1974 (U.S. Reg. No. 73034607).
After all the festivities, it is back to work for us all. Thank you again for a fantastic 2017 and cheers to 2018. Happy new year!
